Our Mission
Recognize, encourage, and support partnerships to improve the health of communities in Baker, Clay, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam, St. Johns, and Volusia counties.
Who We Are
The St. Johns River Rural Health Network (SJRRHN), Inc. is a 501c3 not-for-profit Florida Corporation established in 1994. Of the seven counties in the northeast region, two (Baker and Putnam) are designated Rural Areas and all seven are either designated as Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSA) or Medically Underserved Area/Medically Underserved Professional, and/or Low Income. According to the 2000 Census, an estimated 849,806 persons live in the network area.
How We Work
We work with our partners to develop proactive and collaborative programs that address the priority health needs of rural Floridians in our region. We have a history of successfully convening rural providers and interested stakeholders to address common rural issues and concerns.
